Explain a little bit about your medical condition that led to your implant.
Several years ago I was in an automobile accident, and it caused severe neurological problems, and at that time I was experiencing some difficulty with E.D. At that time, I sought out the present medications. They didn’t work for me. I even tried the MUSE, the injections and it brought me to have an implant at that time.
What type of research did you do prior to getting your implant?
A lot of internet shopping, going to different websites, putting in Google “implants, penile implants.” At that point we decided, my wife and I decided to look at different products that were out there. At first, we tried the Ambicor which is a two-piece implant. I did not have great success with that, a lot of problems with it. Tried Coloplast, the Titan penile implant.
How was the transition from the Ambicor two-piece to the Titan three-piece penile implant?
The transition was straightforward to make, once we had problems with the Ambicor two piece we switched over to the Coloplast three piece and it was a difference between night and day.
How do you address questions concerning how a penile implant affects length?
My answer to the question concerning length is that you’re not going to gain any more than you had initially going in. In my case, I was blessed enough not to lose anything because I had the procedure done in time. So, therefore, I didn’t lose any inches.
What surprises you the most when talking to individuals currently struggling with Erectile Dysfunction?
The most surprising questions to me would be that the patients did not know that the Titan or the implant exists, so, they are amazed that it exists and they are willing to proceed on with it once they find out about the information.
Did you have any concerns when you made your decision to get the Titan penile implant?
The decision was made after investigating what was out there, first of all. After I made the decision, the decision was made, I did it. There was no looking back on regrets or anything, and I’m 100% glad that I had the procedure done and would do it again.
